Resources and details
The Resources tab lists everything you watch, in the same rows as the dashboard, with nothing left out. Use it to find a resource by name, ID or IP address and open its detail screen, where its state, metrics, alerts and recent changes are on one page.
Find a resource
Section titled “Find a resource”- Open the Resources tab.
- Choose a grouping at the top. Kind is the default.
- Type into Search resources or IP address: a name, an ID, a location or a full IP address.
- Tap a row to expand its brief, then tap Open details.
A scope picker above the list chooses where the rows come from: All, Team (your team’s connected projects and uptime checks) or This device (your projects in free mode). Groupings: Kind, Attention and, once a resource is in a Kubernetes cluster, Cluster. Dedicated servers are on the dashboard, not in this list.
Kind keeps every row in the same place, by resource type, with Uptime checks · from outside last. Attention applies the dashboard’s ranking to the whole list: Wrong now, Green, but, Costing more, then Everything else. Changing the grouping never adds or drops a row.
Tapping a project on the dashboard opens this tab filtered to that project,
shown as project: <name> in the search field. Remove it to see everything
again.
Search
Section titled “Search”The search matches names, IDs and locations, and finds uptime checks by
target, check name and host. It also accepts a full IP address: every
resource that has or contains it appears, with a line saying what matched,
such as IPv6 · 2001:db8:3::1/64. The search runs on your device, so it
works in free mode too. What it matches: Find the server behind an IP
address.
Kubernetes clusters
Section titled “Kubernetes clusters”Vaicoa recognises Kubernetes clusters from the labels their provider puts on Hetzner resources: Cluster API Provider Hetzner (CAPH), Gardener’s machine controller manager, and capi-provider-nodepool. There is nothing to configure.
With Cluster, each cluster is a section: the control plane, then the workers pool by pool, then the infrastructure it uses, such as load balancers and networks. The caption gives its shape, for example “control plane 3 · prod-md-0 5”. Everything else is under Not in a cluster, including volumes created by the CSI driver, which carry no cluster label. The Costs tab can group by cluster too.
The detail screen
Section titled “The detail screen”A resource’s detail screen shows what applies to it, in this order:
- The header: the state and status, the type, the location, details such as the IP addresses, and the ID. Touch and hold a value to copy it. A network bridged to a Robot vSwitch shows “Bridged to vSwitch #…”. The Cloud API only says that the bridge exists, not which servers are on it, so the row links to the Robot console, where the member servers are listed.
- Last 30 days: the row’s strip.
- Alerts (Pro and Team): the alerts firing on it, muted ones included, and Alert history for this resource alone, so you can see how often it happens (When something needs attention).
- Metrics (servers and load balancers): charts with a range picker, 1h and 24h from Hetzner in free mode, plus 7d and 30d on Pro and 90d on Team. Once the Vaicoa agent runs, a server’s charts include memory, disk usage and load measured on the server, which Hetzner’s metrics do not cover. Where an alert rule watches a metric, its threshold is drawn on the chart.
- Checks, Jobs and Log context (Pro and Team): its uptime checks, job reports and recent warning lines (Log context).
- Rules, Related and Labels: a firewall’s rules, the resources this one is attached to, and its Hetzner labels.
- Recent activity: what Hetzner did to the resource lately, such as a reboot or a resize.
For a project on your device (free mode), the screen has the header, the 1h and 24h charts, Rules, Related, Labels and Recent activity. Dedicated servers have their own detail screen (Add a dedicated server).
Share, console and ID
Section titled “Share, console and ID”Vaicoa is read-only. The detail screen leads to where you act: the ⋯ menu has Share brief and Copy for coding agent (Hand off to a coding agent), and Open in Hetzner Console, where changes happen. The console cannot be linked straight to a resource, so Copy ID copies the resource’s number for its search.
